Dua Lipa is a English artist and performer born on August 22, 1995 in London United Kingdom. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017 following her joined Warner Bros Records. The album climbed to the top spot at No. three on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles released including Be the One I.D.G.A.F., and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards as a British female solo artist as well as British breakthrough act in 2018. The album was certified platinum throughout the world. Dua Lipa was born on August 22, 1995 in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandparent Dua Lipa, the actress is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also traced back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's two grandfathers both were historians. Her brother is Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina. The father of Lipa, who was a guitar player and singer in the Kosovan band Oda, influenced her musically. She was influenced by her father's music, which included his original compositions, as well as songs such David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she began singing. When she was nine, she learned how to sing. Lipa has covered If I Am Not Got You as well as Beautiful from Christina Aguilera and posted it on YouTube.
